Direct Care Professional – Oakland County (Lake Orion/ West Bloomfield, MI)

Life Center is hiring Direct Care Professionals and Caregivers to work with the special needs population in our Residential Home setting in the Pontiac/ West Bloomfield area.   Afternoon and Midnight shifts available.  Candidates with MORC/CLS or DMH training a plus! 

Full or part time employment is available. Full time employees are eligible for an extensive benefit package which includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance after 60 days.  Vacation time, paid training as well! Wage is $16.35 per hour.

We are seeking dedicated individuals who will provide a loving and supportive environment to the people we support while taking an active interest in their lives.  Duties for these positions  include but are not limited to:  assistance with daily living needs (cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping), assisting or prompting with personal care, community activities or outings, transportation services, skill building, friendship and companionship.

Requirements:

-18 years or older

-Valid Driver’s License (not suspended or restricted)

-reliable transportation

Preferred

-MORC/CLS or other DMH training preferred

-CPR/First Aid are preferred but can be obtained through our training program
