About

Life Center is a recognized provider of long-standing quality services, both group and in-home, for children and adults with disabilities in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Genesee counties since 1982. History

Since 1982, we have been providing residential and community living options for people needing a wide variety of services and support. Residential settings offer both licensed group homes, and other residential services. Our In Home supports and youth services provide assistance in family homes. As a part of Life Center’s commitment to enhancing more lives, the agency recently merged with Neighborhood Residential and Independent Opportunities of Michigan, recognizing a shared philosophy, mission and vision. These organizations are long-standing service providers in Macomb and Oakland counties and contribute greatly to our cause.

Thirty years does not seem like an inordinate amount of time to many, but to families whose lives have been changed by a son or daughter, sister or brother, or other loved one with a disability, 30 years is a milestone! We’re proud of our solid history in the community, and our continuing efforts to be a part of so many people’s lives.
