Our staff receives ongoing practical and special skills training to ensure safe, high-quality support. Every caregiver at Life Center is certified in CPR and first aid, with regular in-person and online training, including medication administration, to ensure our community receives knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate care.

Life Center caregivers must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a Valid Michigan Driver’s License
  • Have no criminal history
  • Have caregiving experience or a desire to provide compassionate care

All caregivers at Life Center are trained to provide any medical need as designated in the individual's treatment plans.

Timelines can vary. Care will begin once the services are authorized through the county-designated agency.

Life Center’s services are approved through the county-designated agency, which manage Medicare/Medicaid programs.

If medication administration is required per treatment plan, our staff are trained through an accredited agency under RN supervision. Our caregivers provide reminders and oversight for those who are more independent with their medication regime.

There is no typical day for our supported individuals. In group homes, there are typical waking, meal, and bedtime routines, but it varies based on the residents living in each home. Our goal at Life Center is work with each individual and create a schedule that works best for them.

Yes. Life Center adopts Person-Centered Planning in all forms, and this process is what drives every offered service.

No. Life Center does not implement Visitor Hours. Individuals receiving our support may approve visitors and decide when they would like to receive visitors.

Yes. Life Center can provide in-home or residential support to both semi-independent and total care individuals. Our caregivers follow personalized plans based on the individual’s pre-existing conditions or disabilities and lifestyle goals and needs.

No. Life Center supports individuals with varying needs. Our team is skilled and experienced at providing compassionate care and addressing specific complexities.
