Direct Support Professionals -Oakland County In-Home Supports

Life Center is hiring Direct Care Workers or Caregivers to work with special needs individuals in their own homes.  We have settings located throughout Oakland county.   Schedules can often be flexible.

Full or part time employment is available. Full time employees are eligible for an extensive benefit package which includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance after 60 days.  Vacation time, paid training as well!  Wage is currently $15.70 per hour.  We also have stay on bonuses and other incentives.

We are seeking dedicated individuals who will provide a loving and supportive environment to the people we support while taking an active interest in their lives.  Duties for these positions  include but are not limited to:  assistance with daily living needs (cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping), assisting or prompting with personal care, community activities or outings,  transportation services, skill building, friendship and companionship.

Requirements:

-18 years or older

-Valid Driver’s License (not suspended or restricted) and reliable transportation

Preferred:

-Previous residential training preferred

-CPR/First Aid are preferred but can be obtained through our training program
